Warranty policy
Coverage terms for Airtek equipment distributed by Airtek Alberta, including registration requirements and how to make a claim.
Coverage
GREE equipment purchased through Airtek Alberta and registered within 60 days of installation qualifies for GREE’s 12-year limited warranty on the compressor and parts. Unregistered equipment defaults to the standard base warranty period defined by GREE Canada.
Registration requirements
To activate full coverage, the equipment owner or installing dealer must submit the model number, serial number, installation address, and installation date through our warranty registration page within 60 days of installation. Equipment must be installed by a qualified HVAC professional in accordance with GREE installation manuals and local codes.
What is not covered
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, unauthorized repairs or modifications, misapplication, lack of routine maintenance, power surges, freight damage not reported at delivery, or normal wear items such as filters. Labour costs are not covered unless specified in a separate labour warranty program.
How to make a claim
Contact our support team with the unit’s model and serial number, proof of registration or purchase, and a description of the fault. Diagnosis must be performed by an authorized dealer or qualified technician. Approved claims are fulfilled through replacement parts or equipment at GREE’s discretion.
